“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

1 Peter 4:10

Production team Onboarding Process

The onboarding process here at The Well is split up into three basic steps.  The interest formcoffee & connect, and finally, shadowing. Every step of this process is here for good reason. Although we’re primarily serving from behind the scenes, we believe the heart posture should remain the same across all serve-well teams. We want to magnify and honor God in all that we do. While this is a big commitment, the reward is priceless. We get to watch people encounter the living God. So, thanks for being willing to serve. We can’t wait to walk with you through this process!

Shadowing

Interest Form

Coffee & Connect

interest form

Step 1

NOTE: These questions are in no way meant to “disqualify” you from serving. We only hope to get a better idea of where you’re coming from. With that being said, we ask that you answer as honestly and accurately as possible.

NOTE: Please allow up to two weeks for a follow up connection. You will be receiving a call from one of our Production Staff, who will walk you through Step 2. Thank you for your time, and your willingness to serve!

Coffee & connect

Step 2

After you complete the interest form, one of our production staff members will reach out to you to further connect, and talk about next steps.

in an ideal SCENARIO, we would love to sit down with you and have a cup of coffee. this part of the process may feel a bit informal, and frankly that’s our goal. we want to get to know you!

additionally, we will walk you through how to setup and use both planning center and church center. we will also go over the general roadmap for training, and schedule a date for you to begin shadowing.

NOTE: We understand that life is busy. Sitting down for a coffee is in no way required. If a phone call is all that you have time for, that is absolutely fine! We will still go over the same content, and help you setup your planning center and church center accounts.

shadowing

Step 3

Shadowing is your final step of the onboarding process. The length of this final step is dependent on two things. Your personal schedule, and the position that you're shadowing. No position is like another. Because of that, some of them take more time to learn, as they simply require more practice and experience. Positions like camera may only take shadowing one Sunday. While a position like Pro Presenter, may require you to shadow a handful of times before you feel adequately prepared.
Shadowing will primarily take place on Sunday mornings. However, you are more than welcome to be a part of Saturday morning rehearsals, which take place at 7:30am at both Well Campuses. The purpose of shadowing is to be a "fly on the wall." Take this opportunity to ask all of the questions your heart desires. All of our servers are also instructed to allow you to get hands on experience with their supervision. This is a great opportunity for learning, as you're able to serve with a "safety net." You're bound to make mistakes, but that's part of the process.

The beauty of this step in the process, is that it's totally dependent on you. You control the pace. Although each position has a "minimum requirement," you are welcome to shadow for as long as you would like. We can't wait to walk this process out with you!

Why we serve.

  • Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

    Romans 12:1

  • Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

    1 Peter 4:10

  • The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor.
