Freedom for all.
We aren’t a perfect church…there’s no such thing. But we are a group of people simply seeking to live out the love and freedom that Christ offers in order that all people can be
found by the grace of God,
filled by the power of the Holy Spirit,
and freed to love like Christ.

Josh has two wonderful daughters, Nevaeh and Brielle and is the Aurora campus minister.
Austin sensed God’s call to ministry while in high school, but was unsure where that path would lead. While pursuing a college degree in criminal justice and sociology, God opened the door for Austin to lead worship at The Well. Austin is excited to see where God will lead him in ministry.
Austin has had a heart for worship music for years. Leading and playing since high school FCA, He has enjoyed many opportunities to lead at various ministry events and revivals.
Austin enjoys playing music, spending time with his family and friends, playing airsoft, and making videos.
It is the desire of Austin’s heart to teach people that worship isn’t just music, but a way of life! He prays that people will understand that we worship God in all that we could do!
Ann was raised in a Christian home and came to know the Lord as her Savior at the age of 8. She felt a call to ministry at a young age and has answered that call in a variety of ways over the years but seems to find her niche in the areas of Connections and Discipleship.
She acquired her Associates of Arts Degree at Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College (now Randall University), Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education at Drury University, and completed her Master’s Degree at Liberty University in Family and Marital Counseling.
Passionate about helping people find community and taking their next steps in their faith journeys, Ann believes that ministry is a lifestyle even more than a vocation. While her job energizes her, Ann is happiest when someone asks her about her daughters, Katie and Kelsie, or her fur baby, Maddie. She likes baseball, time with family, coffee time with friends, and dreams of traveling more!
When you encounter Ann, you will receive a smile and maybe even a hug. It is her life’s mission to leave people around her better than she found them.
As a teenage girl Katelyn was heavily involved in youth ministry. During this time, she felt a calling into vocational ministry, but wasn’t sure what that would look like for her. After coming to The Well, she felt God open a door for her to serve as a life group leader for teens. This volunteer position led to her eventually answer her call, and accept the position as the Youth Minister.
Katelyn married her husband Garrett in May of 2017. As a couple, Katelyn and Garrett are passionate about helping teens find and grow in their relationship with the Lord and helping to create a community that they can call home. As a teen that was heavily impacted by youth ministry Katelyn strives to have a same impact on this generation.
Her prayer is that The Well will continue to partner with our teens and be able to help them in their faith journey to do far greater for the kingdom than we could ever do! She believes that in this stage of life, teens are easily impressionable as they begin searching for their identity. Her prayer is to help these teens establish their identity solely in Christ all the days of their life.
Adrian gave her heart to the Lord and was called into ministry as a young girl. Throughout the years, God has continued to open Adrian’s eyes and ears to His voice and her calling. Adrian discovered The Well in college, where she began attending the church’s weekly young adult services. She soon became highly involved in worship, outreach, and leading life groups. These opportunities paved the way to her becoming the Young Adult Minister.
Adrian married Pastor Brandon Lien in January 2020. As a couple, Adrian and Brandon simply have a love for all people. In their free time, they enjoy fitness, reading, and coffee. They truly believe that ministry begins within their relationship with one another.
As a young adult herself, Adrian’s heart breaks for college students. As she often says, “The college campus could be the largest mission field of your life.” Her prayer is that The Well could help young adults experience true intimacy with the Lord and guide them to break free from the anxiety, depression, and darkness that are often intensified in the college years.
Tara sensed God’s call into ministry in her early 20’s but wasn’t sure exactly what that looked like. She has served in various community ministries, including Relentless Teen Girls Encounter. God called her and her family to The Well, which ultimately led to the door opening as the Children’s Director.
Tara believes that ministry starts in the home and loves her title as “Wife” and “Mom.” She enjoys spending her time with family and friends whether at the lake, sitting around a fire, or just playing board games.
Tara’s passion is in equipping families to serve Christ. She desires to teach both children and parents that “They’re not just kids, they’re future leaders!” Her goal is to come alongside families to raise those leaders up.
As a teenage girl Ashley felt a calling into children’s ministry, but wasn’t sure what that looked like. Shortly after coming to The Well, she felt God telling her she needed to step out of my comfort zone, and began volunteering in the Kids department, which eventually landed her the position as the downtown Kids minister.
Ashley has two sweet boys and a wonderful husband who are so supportive of her role in this ministry. She truly believes that ministry starts at home with her family, and her own children.
Her prayer is that The Well will be able to help these children establish a relationship with Christ, then help them build that relationship and prayer life with Him. She believes childhood is such a vital time in a person’s life where they set the foundation that they will carry with them for all of the days of their lives.
Vision + Mission
We believe ALL people can be FOUND by the Grace of God, FILLED by the Power of the Holy Spirit, and FREED to Love like Christ.
We will: Worship God, Disciple Believers, and Reach the Lost
Fundamental beliefs of a person or organization that dictate behavior. Shared attitudes and beliefs that shape practices. Why we do, what we do.
Talking to God with praise and petition.
Prayer matters, we will talk to God about all things.
People matter, we will Love them.
A compelling desire. The suffering and death of Jesus.
Passion matters, we will give our lives for God’s Kingdom.
A series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end. Jumping through the hoops.
Process matters, We will do whatever God ask us to do to accomplish His will.
in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
The Well is a part of the Church of the Nazarene, a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the Church is now home to more than 2.5 million members worshiping in over 30,000 local congregations in 160 world areas. For more about what we believe, click here.
